I have been overwhelmed with the news in America as I am sure many of have been. Most of my time however is being consumed with proofreading my second book.

Make more reading part of your new year’s resolution! Today I am remembering one of my favorite crime novelists and MWA Grand Masters, Donald E. Westlake. Of his many books my favorites are those featuring the very entertaining John Dortmunder. A few of his Dortmunder books were turned into movies (Hot Rocks, What’s the Worst That Can Happen). Reading any of his books is a pleasurable experience that will make every writer want to write like him and every reader long for more of his writing....
